Navadvipa Prasada Distribution.

Haribol, to all of my friends and family in Murwillumbah, I hope all is well for you and that we will see you at Navadvipa Parikrama.
I am sitting before Srila Gurudeva's picture in Mathura Matha and feel that it would be really great to help this year with the Navadvipa Parikrama Project. I have witnessed the amount of service this parikrama involves, including major prasada distribution, with seperate distribution for both Western and Indian devotees. I am trying to generate some enthusiasm amongst the devotees to be involved, so that it is less stress for Guru and Vaisnava's.
The kind of help we could provide is 1) sending any money donations to Srila Gurudeva or those responsible for the kitchen service, 2) bringing any items suitable for Western cooking and I will provide some options below; otherwise, items that you like in cooking, but it would be nice if you could bring it in bulk for all devotees, 3) sending any useful utensils for use in the kitchen such as graters, peelers, knives, plastic chopping boards etc. 4) offer personal service in the kitchen when you have free time during parikrama, 4) what would be really helpful is devotees to help serve out prasadam also as there will by thousands of people attending Navadvipa Parikrama.
Some good reasons for donating money:
1. Bring instant happiness to Srila Gurudeva.
2. To support Srila Gurudeva's service to His Gurudeva. The more support that comes from devotees towards Prasada distribution then the less worry for Srila Gurudeva that devotees are being provided for nicely.
3. To clean karmas from the accumulation of money and the means by which this money is obtained.
4. To bring happiness to Vaisnava's, including Bengalis (Indians) and other God-brothers and God-sisters.
5. Prasada distribution is full of bliss and the more you get involved the more blissful it is.
6. To make for a really wonderful festival with really tasty and healthy prasadam that will nourish devotees both spiritually and materially.
.
There will be thousands of Bengalis coming to take shelther of Our Srila Gurudeva and the Gaudiya Matha, please please the devotees require your help to take care of them and give them loving shelter. The price of vegetables and all kinds of bhoga has sky rocketed in India this year due to a lack of rain and failing crops. If you can bring anything to assist them then please do.
If you are easily able to do the very much appreciated service of providing dontations towards Bhoga, western bhoga items or useful kitchen utensils, then I encourage you to send donations with any devotee you trust. Otherwise you can contact any devotees you trust in India about options you have for sending money via Western Union or online banking. I believe you have to have such strong faith that Srila Gurudeva's bless will be on your head for any way in which you can assist his Navadvipa Parikrama.
Please if you have any ideas or queries regarding prasada distribution during Navadvipa Parikram, you are free to ask me. I know Srila Gurudeva is very enthusiastic to see all devotees this year and always lovingly inviting all devotees to attend. I am hoping to seek devotees who have enthusiasm regarding this service, so please write if you would like to be involved and have any ideas of dishes you would like to offer to devotees.
Some western items I encourage devotees to include in there bags are milk powder (please bring alot of milk powder), olive oil, items for making salad, good quality yeast for making bread, pasta please, cheese, nuts for ekadasi or to include in salads, such as seeds like sunflower seeds, soya sauce, any items useful for making pasta like olives, honey for abhiseka, but please stretch your minds to think of any suitable items that the Vaisnava's would relish, that would bring happiness and good health.
Please, forward this letter to other devotees providing them the chance to serve Guru and Vaisnavas.
Aspiring to bring happiness to Srila Gurudeva and Vaisnavas,
Vrindavanesvari Devi Dasi

Question: How will we recognize a messenger from Vaikuntha and the authenticity of his message?
Answer: If our prayers become sincere and honest, then by the mercy of Bhagavan, who is omniscient, everything will be revealed to us. A student can recognize an erudite scholar only with the help of another erudite scholar. Sri Bhagavan, who resides in our heart, will help us in every aspect of our life. We only have to depend on Him exclusively.
If we want to acquire knowledge of some entity there are two means by which we can do so. The first means is through knowledge and experience pertaining to this world. But in the case of transcendental entities the experience and knowledge of this world are to be considered incomplete. Thus the second means is to exclusively surrender one’s self to that great personality who has descended from the same realm as that transcendental entity. By hearing from him we can gain an understanding of that entity.

10AM   VISION MEETING to discuss our shared values, shared vision and shared commitment to serving Srila Gurudeva together. This meeting is NOT in connection with any particular project, but will serve to establish and develop a mood of working together in service to our beloved Srila Gurudeva.
In the words of Bhaktivedanta Vaikhanas Maharaja, "Srila Gurudeva has told us time and again in Bangalore that if we do not have proper relationships with one another and are simply engaged in fighting, then we might as well close the math and go elsewhere.  In other words, our success is not measured by money and buildings, but how we are developing the spiritual bonds of love for one another in our service to Sri Guru and Gauranga. He measures our success by how we are practically acquiring the qualities of a real devotee."
